Patricia Moya Mat Pilates
Patricia Moya is a dedicated fitness educator, specializing in Pilates and the art of movement. Patricia is thrilled to be back in her hometown of Wilton and has been part of the team at PTP Wilton since 2014. Patricia received her Authentic Pilates certification in 2002, under the tutelage of master teacher, Romana Kryzanowska, the protégé of Joseph Pilates. As a professional dancer, Pilates conditioning was critical to Patricia’s growth as an injury-free performer. Patricia’s innovative approach integrates somatic movement, facilitates rehabilitation, rebalances the body and manages chronic pain.
Patricia brings over 30 years of experience practicing the Pilates Method. She blends in cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training to help her clients achieve a mind-body transformation. Patricia thoroughly enjoys helping others reach their fitness goals, reduce stress and find freedom through movement.
Patricia was an elite trainer at DLFit Pilates Wellness Studio in Soho, NYC, and Pilates Santa Fe, NM, as well as a mind-body group fitness & Pilates instructor for Equinox Fitness Clubs, in NYC, Greenwich and Darien.
In 2013, Patricia completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program with Mitchell & Tracy Bleier of the former YogaPata, in Wilton. Patricia is a member of IDEA and maintains her CPR certification. Additional certifications include: Pilates Triadball Method, DLFit Muscle Release Program, Pre & Post-natal fitness. Forever a student, Patricia participates in continuing education workshops annually.
Patricia majored in Theatre/Dance at Smith College and completed a 2-year scholarship and certification program in Advanced Dance Studies at The AILEY School. Her dancing career included tours of Broadway productions, both nationally and internationally. Patricia is a vested member of the Screen Actors’ Guild and the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists.
A WHS ‘82 alumna, Patricia also taught for the Walter Schalk School of Dance and Wiremill Academy to combine her love of movement and quality time with her one & only daughter, Ava Rose, WHS Class of 2026.
