Description

This introductory class offers a practical and accessible guide to mindfulness - the practice of cultivating present-moment awareness. Designed for beginners, the class combines theory, guided exercises, and group reflection to help participants develop foundational mindfulness skills that can reduce stress, improve focus, and enhance emotional well-being.

Students will learn core concepts such as attention regulation, body awareness, and non-judgmental acceptance, while practicing techniques like mindful breathing, body scans, and walking meditation. By the end of the class, students will have developed a personal mindfulness practice and tools to support continued growth and resilience.
