Description
As the days grow shorter and the light fades, many of us feel our energy and mood dip. But winter doesn’t have to be something to just endure. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to better understand and embrace the season rather than fight against it. Led by a licensed mental health professional, this 2-part series offers a friendly, down-to-earth space to learn about Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and the “winter blues.” We’ll talk about what’s happening in the brain and body during the colder months, explore a range of evidence-based treatments and self-care practices, and help you design your own personal “winter arc” - a plan to stay grounded, balanced but motivated, and emotionally well throughout the season. Each session combines psychoeducation, reflection, and practical tools you can apply right away. Together, we’ll work on reframing our relationship with winter - finding new ways to rest, connect, and thrive when the world slows down.
