Dick Aarons is the Director of the Office of Emergency Management for Ridgefield, CT. He’s a state certified police photography instructor and a consultant to the Ridgefield Police Department. Dick and Sean McEvoy, Deputy Planning Chief of the Office of Emergency Management, have taught drone operation and safety in towns all over Connecticut. They run this program through the all-volunteer Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Dick is also a photographer, teaches drone photography, and writes articles for aviation magazines. He is an invaluable civic volunteer for the town as well as the state.
