Description

This hands-on portrait workshop is a fun, creative deep dive into making compelling portraits with natural light. Photographer Fredda Gordon will share practical tips, inspiring examples, and fresh ways of seeing light, background, and composition—showing how small shifts can make a big impact in your images.

You’ll spend most of the class shooting, photographing one another in a lively, supportive setting with real-time guidance and group feedback. Along the way, you’ll pick up easy techniques for helping people relax in front of the camera and capturing portraits that feel natural and expressive.

Open to all levels, this workshop welcomes DSLR, mirrorless, and phone cameras. The focus is on creativity, experimentation, and getting the most out of whatever camera you use.

The session wraps up with a group image review and a quick introduction to simple editing techniques that help bring out each photo’s strengths and give your portraits a polished finish.
