Indulge your “sweet tooth” without feeling guilty by learning the technique behind creating a classic French dessert that is both delicious and nutritious. Learn how this impressive and satisfying dessert can be part of a well-balanced, healthy diet. Participants will prepare their own autumn galette - a rustic, free-form tart using seasonal fruit. Making a galette is great for beginner or timid bakers and also for the more advanced baker who wants to make an easy dessert that requires less effort then making a tart or pie. Once you have the technique down, the various types of galettes one can create is endless.
