Description

Winter is the perfect time to start your garden! Learn how to sow seeds for flowers, herbs and vegetables, to then be transplanted into your garden or pots in the spring. We will provide all materials, but if you have your own seeds you'd like to plant, feel free to bring them!
Seed sowing is a rewarding yet minimal-effort method of starting your own garden. Place it in a sunny spot outdoors and forget it!
Please bring gardening gloves if you have and plan to get your hands dirty.
A materials fee, payable to the instructor, is $10 per person (and child) and covers everything you’ll need: 3 types of seeds, plastic water jugs, tape, plant markers and soil plus watering tools for the class to use. For adults, or adults with child over age 10.
Please wear comfortable shoes. This workshop takes place in the greenhouse.
