Leticia Moreinos Schwartz is a Brazilian-American author who studied culinary arts and journalism at the International Culinary Center. She is the author of The Brazilian Kitchen, which won Best Latin Cookbook at the World Gourmand Awards, My Rio de Janeiro: A Cookbook, and newly published Latin Superfoods (Skyhorse Publishing).

Leticia has appeared as a guest star on hundreds of national shows, including several times on the TODAY Show. She worked as a TV correspondent for NBC during the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics and currently hosts monthly segments for NBC CT Live!

Since 2013, Leticia is the spokesperson for America’s Diabetes Challenge, a campaign that promotes healthy living. In 2019 she participated in the documentary A Touch of Sugar, narrated by Viola Davis. Together they participated in more than 65 interviews and reached over 334 million viewers.

Leticia works in multi-cultural language platforms in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Her skills uniquely span the fields of health, cooking, communications, and global media. She lives in Connecticut with her family.
