His signature style captures life’s spirit, joy and romance utilizing a soft ethereal quality of light, movement and time.

A lifelong nature photographer Lawrence is also an educator, lecturer, and freelance technical consultant now based in a cozy wooded home-studio on the Saugatuck River in Wilton, Connecticut.

His strengths include his laid back style, photographic technique, composition, digital editing and knowledge of lighting both natural light photography and the use of compact strobes and mixed lighting on location.

Lawrence teaches master classes in his studio and leads travel and nature photography workshops around Connecticut, New York and New England.
