Learn to create a strong portrait using the natural light around you. Fredda Gordon will point out ways to utilize your digital cameras to their fullest capacity. Fredda will share valuable insights and provide examples on what to observe and consider while shooting, emphasizing the importance of backgrounds, composition and depth of field for successful portraits. The class will practice taking photographs of each other, discussing what works and what doesn't. You will also discuss techniques to help your subjects feel comfortable in front of the camera. At the conclusion of the class, students will upload photos to the instructors' computer to review and comment on the results of their work.
