Description
Indulge your “sweet tooth” without feeling guilty by learning the technique behind creating a classic French dessert that is both delicious and nutritious. Participants will prepare their own autumn galette- a rustic, free-form tart using seasonal fruit as well as learn how this dessert can be part of a well-balanced, healthy diet. Making a galette is great for beginner or timid bakers as they are very forgiving as well as for the more advanced baker who wants to make an easy dessert that requires less effort then making a tart or pie, but is every bit satisfying and impressive. Once you have the technique down, the various types of galettes one can create is endless.
A materials fee, payable to the instructor, is $18.
