Description

In this workshop you will learn how to create a strong portrait using the natural light around you. Fredda Gordon will give examples of what to look for and what to think about while you are shooting. She will discuss the importance of backgrounds, composition and depth of field for successful portraits. The class will practice taking photographs of each other and discussing what does or does not work. You will also discuss ways to help people feel comfortable in front of your camera. In addition, Fredda Gordon will point out ways to utilize your digital cameras to their fullest capacity and will also answer individual questions during shooting. At the end, the class will upload photos to the instructors' computer to see the results of their work. 

During this course, Fredda is happy to answer questions regarding your current photographic equipment or suggestions for selecting and purchasing new equipment.
