Maureen Lutz Flower Gardening: Session 1 Plan

image167

Maureen Hogan Lutz has been gardening for over forty years and has cultivated gardens in all the terrains Connecticut has to offer: sunny, shady, rocky, wetland, as well clay pots on a deck.

Her current garden in Ridgefield was named Best Cottage Garden in 2017 by Country Gardens Magazine and featured on the cover.

Maureen has known success and failure, frustration and triumph. She has asked dumb questions at a garden center one day, and given gardening advice to a neighbor the next. Her garden sprawls and buzzes. It stretches and is undisciplined at times, but her garden has a charm that casts a spell on all those who pass by. In Maureen’s garden, daydreaming is allowed because she believes daydreaming is therapy for the soul.
