Learn to Knit: Beginner Knit01

Description

This class is geared to the brand-new knitter or those who need to refresh their skills. In this class you will learn to knit, purl, cast on, cast off and start a beginner friendly project of your choice. Depending on your project choice you may also learn increasing, decreasing, knitting in the round, pattern stitches and how to read a pattern. There are many possibilities. 

Supply List: 

Please bring the following to class:

• Smooth, chunky-weight yarn in a light or medium color (avoid very dark colors)
• Straight knitting needles, size 10–11 
• Scissors  

You will also need to purchase items for a project after we discuss in class.
