You’ll learn about the legal documents that are available for estate planning purposes and as well as the consequences of not having a Last Will & Testament. The differences between a Will and the different types of Trusts, including a Living Trust, will be discussed. Another important topic will be the discussion of whether "avoiding probate" is necessary.

The necessity of life planning documents will be discussed as well. Among the documents we’ll review are Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Appointment of Health Care Representative/Proxy, and Predesignation of Conservator of Person and Estate. We’ll discuss the purpose of each and the consequences of not having the proper documents in place when a crisis occurs.
