Description
Welcome to "Exploring Your Personal Style", a challenging and exploratory art class designed to help you develop and expand your own unique artistic style. This course is open to all painters, regardless of your medium of choice, be it acrylics, watercolor, gouache, oil, or others.
The primary objective is to guide you in identifying your artistic approach, while providing an enriching environment that encourages creative exploration. We believe that every artist has a distinctive voice and through this course, we aim to help you find and refine yours. Some artists do not even realize they have a personal style. This class will help enhance what you already have, introduce other approaches, resulting in a unique personal approach to the artwork.
Throughout the course, you'll be encouraged to experiment with different techniques and concepts. Technical advice will be provided.
You'll have the opportunity to share your work and receive constructive critique, fostering an engaging and supportive community of artists.
For the first art class, please bring the following materials:
- One of your own finished paintings
- A small 8"X8" or 9"X12" canvas, board, or w/c paper
- Portable easel or table easel
- Own personal supplies
This class will meet for 5 classes every other Thursday:
4/25, 5/9, 5/23, 5/30, 6/13.
